Our vision for the future includes creating a safe haven for pregnant dogs, nursing mothers, and their litters—a place where they can thrive away from the overcrowding and health risks of traditional shelters. To achieve this, we aim to purchase and prepare land for an estimated $250,000 and construct a comfortable and purpose-built whelping center.

The facility will include five private whelping rooms for expectant and nursing mothers, a spacious puppy room for growing litters, and both indoor and outdoor play areas designed for exercise, socialization, and development. This center will be a sanctuary of hope and healing, built with love and care for the most vulnerable among us. Current budget for block wall building is $500,000.

The success of Shady BE’s Puppies with Purpose depends on sustainable funding to support annual operations. These funds will cover essential expenses like veterinary care, high-quality food, staffing, cleaning supplies, enrichment activities, and facility upkeep. Additionally, they will allow us to expand our impact by rescuing more pregnant dogs and puppies, providing training programs for foster families, and ensuring each dog has the best chance at a healthy, happy future. With your help, we can make this vision a reality, building a compassionate community dedicated to giving every momma and puppy the chance they deserve. We are estimating an annual need of $215,000 for operations which we will be seeking through grants and donations.
